How we count
- Members are people who added a pin on the map themselves. Nobody is added by us, and there is no sample or estimate.
- "Here this month" counts pins whose arrival month is this month or earlier and whose leaving month is not yet past. Pins without an arrival month count from the month they joined.
- Rent is self-reported monthly rent in Turkish lira. We show a median only when an area has 5 or more answers.
- Measured places: our own visits, plus readers' measurements that we checked by hand before publishing.
Privacy: pins show a neighbourhood, never an address. Any group smaller than 3 people is folded into "other areas" so nobody can be singled out. Rent is never shown per person.
