Botox in Istanbul for Foreigners · Prices, Rules and What to Check (2026)

Short version: Botox in Istanbul costs about €100 to €350 for one area and €200 to €800 for the three upper-face areas, with most offers between €200 and €400. That is roughly half of typical UK and US prices. Only a doctor in a licensed clinic may inject; beauty salons may not. Since November 2025 Turkish clinics are not allowed to publish prices, so you will get a figure by WhatsApp or at a consultation, not on their website.

EUR ranges combine Turkey Medicals (August 2026), My Turkey Adventure (June 2026) and Bookimed (September 2026). TL ranges come from two Turkish 2026 price guides. Unit counts are the ranges quoted across these sources. Where the sources disagree we show the widest range.

For comparison: Bookimed lists Botox from about $190 in Istanbul against about $310 in the UK and $300 in the US, and preventative Botox from $200 in Istanbul against $800 in the US.

Lip filler: 2026 guides put one syringe (1 ml) of lip filler at about €200 to €450 in Istanbul, more in Nişantaşı and Beşiktaş, less on the Asian side.

Why the range is so wide

• Brand. Clinics in Turkey name Botox (Allergan), Dysport, Xeomin/Bocouture and Nabota. Prices differ by brand. Ask which one, and ask to see the box.
• Units. Stronger muscles need more units, and men usually need more. A clinic quoting “per area” has an assumed dose in mind; ask how many units that is.
• Doctor and district. Nişantaşı, Şişli, Levent and Etiler are at the top of the range. Kadıköy and the Asian side are usually cheaper.
• Lira and imports. Botulinum toxin is imported, so clinics move prices with the exchange rate. Many quote foreigners in euros.

Why clinic websites say they “can’t show prices”

A Ministry of Health regulation published on 12 November 2025 says health promotion may not include fees, discounts, campaigns or promotions (Article 5). Anyone who shares non-compliant promotion is equally responsible. So Turkish clinic sites write that prices are not shared “per regulation” (mevzuat gereği), and ask you to message them.

There is one exception. Clinics and agencies with a Ministry health-tourism licence may advertise, including prices and discounts, on a separate site in a language other than Turkish, aimed at people abroad (Article 8). That is why you find English pages with euro prices but Turkish pages without them. The same article bans those licensed players from targeting people who live in Turkey.

What this means for you: expect to get a price by WhatsApp or at a consultation. A quote in writing, with the brand and the number of units, is normal to ask for.

Who is allowed to inject Botox in Turkey

• A physician, in a licensed facility. A clinic (muayenehane), polyclinic, medical centre or hospital. Not a beauty salon, not a beautician, not a hotel room.
• Since 7 January 2025, any physician may perform aesthetic procedures within their training or a Ministry-approved certificate. Before that, it was limited to dermatologists, plastic surgeons and doctors holding an older aesthetic certificate. The Ministry launched a certified aesthetics course for doctors in 2025.
• The change is disputed. Turkey’s plastic surgery association warned about doctors doing injections after a few weeks of training. If you want a specialist, ask for one.

Reading a Turkish doctor’s title:

Dermatology appears as “Dermatoloji” or its official name, “Deri ve Zührevi Hastalıklar”. Plastic surgery is “Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi”.

How to check a clinic before you book

1. Get the doctor’s full name and title. Search it. You should find the same person on the clinic’s site and in reviews.
2. Ask where it will be done. It should be the clinic’s own licensed premises, not a salon or an “aesthetic studio”.
3. Ask for the brand and units in writing on WhatsApp before you go.
4. Health-tourism clinics must show their Ministry authorisation and the HealthTürkiye logo on their foreign-language site. Its absence on an English site that sells to tourists is a warning sign.
5. Ask about the follow-up. Results build over about two weeks. Many clinics include a check at two weeks. If you fly home before then, ask what happens if one side is uneven.
6. Walk away from very cheap offers. Turkish doctors warn that unusually low prices often mean non-original or smuggled product.

Timing it with a trip

• The appointment takes 15 to 30 minutes, plus the consultation.
• Results start after 3 to 5 days and settle at around two weeks, which is why a touch-up check sits at two weeks.
• Typical aftercare clinics give: stay upright for a few hours, skip hard exercise that day, and avoid heat for a day or two. That includes the hamam, so do the hamam first.
• Flying is not usually on the restriction list. Clinics treat visitors who leave a day or two later.
• It lasts 3 to 6 months. If you live here, that is 2 to 4 visits a year.
