Three Roaming in Turkey (2026): £7–8 a Day, or Cheaper

Three roaming in Turkey costs £7 a day (joined 1 October 2021 to 17 December 2025) or £8 a day (joined from 18 December 2025), or £42 for a 7-day pass, to use your UK minutes, texts and data, per Three’s Go Roam page checked 13 October 2026. Short answer: Turkey is in Three’s “Go Roam Around the World Extra” band, so most plans pay to use their allowance there. It’s £7 a day if you joined or upgraded between 1 October 2021 and 17 December 2025, or £8 a day if you joined on or after 18 December 2025. A 7-day pass is cheaper at £42. Turkey is a Go Roam Around the World Extra destination. Without roaming in your plan, you unlock your UK minutes, texts and up to 12 GB of data in one of these ways:

The passes work out at about £6 a day, so they beat the daily charge for any trip of three days or more. They start when you first use your allowance abroad, and you can buy several in advance. Daily charges rise each April.

How to set up your Three phone for Turkey

1. Check your plan in the Three app: are Go Roam passes included?
2. Buying a pass? Get the 7-day or 14-day Go Roam Around the World Extra pass before you go. Check your Spend Cap covers it, or you may not be able to roam.
3. Paying daily? Make sure data roaming is on and your Spend Cap covers £7 or £8 a day.
4. Using an eSIM instead? Install it at home on Wi-Fi, set it as your mobile data line, and turn data roaming off on the Three line.
5. When you land, Three texts you the charges for Turkey. To call the UK, replace the first 0 with +44.

Buy the eSIM before you fly

Turkey’s telecom regulator (BTK) has blocked about 37 eSIM stores, including Airalo and Holafly. Their apps and websites don’t load on Turkish networks, so you can’t buy or top up after landing.
